The Royal British Legion, Legion House, Church Lane, Blandford Forum, Dorset DT11 7AD
A very friendly Club, in a very friendly atmosphere. Must visit this new Venue as there is a good chance to meet up with many friends in a quiet part of the country. Currently monthly on a Friday night.
Wheal Dream Restaurant and Free House, Wendron, Helston, Cornwall, TR13 0LR
A club rather on the limits of my South Coast travels. This was a pleasant visit back in the land of my childhood. A Sunday evening club, I have now managed to visit it both on a guest night and a Singaround Evening. The room at the back still holds the Folk Club but just next door is Accomodation. So this time we stayed and had no problems with getting home afterwards. If you are in Cornwall for a holiday it is well worth a visit. If you are a local, why haven't you been there yet. Sorry we didn't make it on down to Cadgwith on the Tuesday but I was very tired.
Arundel Football Club, Mill Road, Arundel, West Sussex, BN18 9PA
A club well worth a visit. They meet every Wednesday, holding Open Stages, Spotlight Nights or else opening their doors to a wide variety of guests and providing a very warm welcome from all concerned. Our visits are not as frequent as we would like them but this is a club we try to visit regularly. We have enjoyed a wide variety of acts there including the Tannahill Weavers and Hughie Jones as well as opportunities to perform at their Open Stage evenings.
The Bursledon Village Hall,
